Vintage Willow Creek cheese is a New Zealand-style cheddar, well-aged over two years. Complex and sweet with notes of browned butter. This original recipe, vegetarian cheese is made with milk from pasture-raised dairy cows and handcrafted in small batches by a Master Cheesemaker.
Culinary Applications: Excellent in salads or cheese boards alongside apples, juicy pears, and pickled vegetables. Vintage Willow Creek Cheese pairs well with light to medium bodied wines like Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir as well as Pale Ales

At Red Barn Family Farms, we are passionate about animal health and welfare. We use an old fashioned term for this - animal husbandry. We believe strongly in the value of the small family farm. Because of their size, these farms have a unique ability to know their animals individually, by name and personality and can therefore provide care tailored specifically to each animal. Unfortunately, these types of farms are rapidly disappearing. So we created a unique model that values these farms for what they are and that provides a way for them to remain sustainable economic business models into the future. We hand-select farms that meet our Red Barn Rules, high standards of animal health/welfare and milk quality. We use an innovative fair trade pricing structure for our farms that incentivizes and rewards excellence.
World Class Cheese - Pairing our Premium Raw Milk with World Class Cheesemakers
Our model is unique. We partner with three World Class Cheesemakers in Northeast Wisconsin to handcraft our cheeses. When our fresh, premium milk arrives at their small, artisan creameries, magic happens. Our cheesemakers each have a unique background and family history, but their passion for quality is what makes them part of our Red Barn Family. Small family farms and small family-owned creameries contribute to a healthy rural economy.
